I work in the Oil and Gas business as a contractor. When in the Uk I have to work via an agency on a Limited Company basis. When I am overseas I am on a non residential basis. Usually tax paid in the location. Prior to November 2011 I was working overseas for a number of years, had non residency status and had an NT tax code. From end November 2011 to end June 2012 I have been working in the UK on a Limited Company basis. From 1 August 2012 I will be back overseas and will have no need for the Limited Company. I currently have an accountant but he is situated in Manchester and I am finding that I need face to face time which is impractical due to the distance. I therefore need an accountant locally who understands how to deal with my working model.
